Cost of SHARP:

Benefits of SHARP:

  • SHARP challenges high school seniors to take early college work.

  • SHARP allows parents the opportunity to save money in the long run by taking advantage of LSUE’s low tuition rate and the federal Lifelong Learning Income Tax Credit.

  • SHARP provides students with negotiable, transferable college credit.

  • SHARP prepares high school seniors for college by exposing them to the work load and study habits required in college courses.

  • SHARP promotes a smooth transition from high school to college, by mainstreaming seniors with college students in college classrooms.

  • SHARP provides student access to the “myLSUE”  package of web-based student services, including the statewide LOUIS network of college library catalogs and online databases that students can use for research in all of their high school courses.
